As anyone who follows me will have noticed, I have been playing a LOT of CollarxMalice. I had some issues with it but overall really enjoyed it. I should go write a review and then crosspost it!

I watched a little of the sequel game CollarxMalice:Unlimited but overall it's mostly post-canon established relationship fluff which isn't generally my thing. It seems fine for what it is, though, for the people who do enjoy that.

I actually haven't been playing Nameless this month ONLY because I'm quite still on my Dandelion Bullshit and I don't want to risk getting onto Nameless Bullshit at the same time.

Like, I'm planning a Dandelion fic and I think I just planned my fic's equivalent to that .gif with the dude excitedly bringing in pizza only to find that the room his friends are in is on fire and someone's collapsed.

Lucydream released a library app (Love Affairs) and I'd played "Behind Your Back", a GL story where MC is a "B-class Idol and Actress" who discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her with a bully in her group, and soon after an "S-class actress" is like "hey, cheat on him with me ;3". I found it okay but short and I got the bad end first, which appeared pretty much out of nowhere.

In the same app I tried out "Magical Touch", an Isekai where MC gets powerful magic from physical contact with the Love Interests. It's surprisingly engaging, even if there's plot holes, and earlier on there are scenes that have rapey undertones (MC tricks one of the LIs into kissing her so she can use her powers and a non LI is, in an accidental feeling way, implied to have raped MC. Like, I have a few reasons to think that didn't happen but it still felt that way in the moment.)

The reason it's so engaging is the MC. Once she gets her footing in that world she's a delightfully strong character. Every time the story seems like it's going to split into a route so far, including a couple of scenes where the LIs are like "You have to choose one of us!" MC is like "Nope." I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up with all of them.

Also she's been wearing this suit for half the game so far

She says this to the Religious LI after pissing off a millionaire who was a regular donor to the church.

and she has a very good point here.

But I have space issues on my phone now and I'm trying to watch enough ads to get enough gems to finish Lucydream's game Bloodkiss so I can delete it. And I headcanon Ruel as genderqueer after thinking that the Love Affairs icon looks like Bloodkiss MC and feminine Ruel.

That Magical Touch MC does look pretty fun! I can't remember if I asked already: what sort of Dandelion fic are you writing?

Magical Touch continues to be engaging but someone forgot to program the expressions for the last couple chapters I've played. There's very dramatic moments happening and everyone is just using their most neutral expression the whole time. For MC that is a mild :). Doesn't exactly fit a scene where she is in a LOT of danger.

It's a fusion with the setting of The Magnus Archives, a very popular horror podcast that finished earlier this year. To describe my fic idea without spoiling some major plot points of TMA: Heejung is aware of the wizard's game and plans to play it her own way.

And a more in depth description WITH huge spoilers for TMA (with some explanations in brackets about things you might not know if you're not a fan) highlight to view :

Heejung is an avatar of the eye (meaning she 'feeds' off the fear of being spied on and one's secrets being revealed, and has powers that enable her to cause that fear, such as 'knowing' things without any need to learn them). She 'knows' about the game, and has a plan to make the LIs into avatars of different forms of fear so that they, too, can retain their memories.

I haven't listened to TMA, I can tell it would freak me out, but that's a very creative and interesting sounding idea! You show that wizard who's boss, Heejung :)

It certainly freaked me out! An early episode even allowed me to vicariously experience Arachnaphobia, and I'm the designated "get rid of spiders without hurting them" person.
