Via English Otome Games, which has trailers

These look pretty cool!

Shuuen no Virche -ErroR:salvation- “Surrounded by the sea and black flowers of misfortune, the citizens of Arpecheur are cursed to die by the age of 23. In this country possessed by the god of death, one young woman named Ceres seems to hasten the deaths of everyone she meets and decides to end her own life. But suddenly a mysterious man called the “watchman of death” appears before her and nothing will be the same.”

Radiant Tale “Tifalia longs for an eventful life and gets her wish when an unusual group calling themselves CIRCUS wander into her inn and press her into service as a producer. A crazy dragon that loves to tickle, a spikey clown that doesn’t make you laugh, a water creature who doesn’t want to use water magic, an acrobat who doesn’t know how to entertain, a drunkard furball, an unmotivated leader, and an amateur producer who just joined. Can this show ever be a success?”

Norn9: Var Commons & Norn9: Last Era “Child prodigy Sorata finds himself swept back in time to a mysterious ship with three young women and eight other men on an adventure to uncover the secrets that lie in Norn! Norn9: Last Era continues the team’s adventures in three exciting parts.”

Looking it up, Norn9's actual protagonists are the three young women, who each have their own collections of routes. Which sounds interesting!

Longsummer Nights is not an otome game, it's a shared-universe LGBQT+ southern gothic paranormal romance anthology.

But it was made by a group of writers who formed to push against the terrible working conditions at the now defunct otome game Lovestruck. I know a lot of you also felt for them at the time, and were also sad to see Lovestruck get shut down when there's so few places for LGBQT+ games.

Has anyone had a chance to read it yet? I'm still deciding if I'll buy it, even though I like fantasy and romance separately I don't always like paranormal romance tropes. But I think it's great they've found a way to keep telling their stories, and look forward to seeing where they go next.

Longsummer Nights is $15US on itchio for 15 stories.

This is a Japanese game from Broccoli, localised by Askys.

Kisa is about to give up her dream of being an actor when she is given the chance to go to the prestigious All Boys Drama School with 2 conditions.
Will Kisa be able to compete against her classmates and win the lead role in the final performance? and keep her identity a secret?

Here's the trailer, which doesn't tell you much but does look pretty.

After some googling, looks like a bunch of the male love interests come from a class which specialises in cross-dressing as girls, and enjoy looking cute. Which sounds relevant to my interests :D

Tsuiteru Hime to Tsuitenai Kishidan: A story about a princess and knights will unfold in the kingdom of Temilana in another world known as Etrudia.

These are Japanese language titles, which is why I couldn't find much of a summary for most of them, but they will hopefully eventually come out in English.

On Steam (Windows only) and Switch.

A new visual novel from the legendary eXtend! Mixing dangerous romance with murder mystery, BUSTAFELLOWS is a steamy noir mystery that will make you shiver but ask for more!

I've heard good things about this game. The negative reviews I could see on Steam were about the apparently pretty shoddy port from Japanese handheld game to English PC game, including the fact that some lines are left untranslated.

Like a lot of my info posts I heard about this on [tumblr.com profile] englishotomegames, they're worth a follow if you're on tumblr.

Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi for Switch, PC launches June 17 This is a port of an older mobile game, the protagonist is the the first female member of the Shinsengumi.

Nekopara: Catboys Paradise announced for PC, iOS, and Android. This is an April Fools joke that became real, from a company that usually makes catgirl games.

Also Otome Games in Nintendo Switch (English) is very thorough and has a bunch of games I hadn't heard of, including some upcoming games.

*I've read that some of them are available in Story Jar, which is an app similar to Love 365 but not pay to play. They are: Pirates, Guilty Alice, Mononoke Kiss, Ninja Assassin, Lost Alice, Lost Island and Niflheim. The rest might be added eventually to Story Jar too, but we don't know for sure.

In case anyone is confused, an app shutting down means that the game won't be available anymore. You won't be able to read the stories, or look at your CGs, or anything. It's all gone forever. Even if you keep it installed in your phone.

So if there is stuff you want to save from any of these, I'd recommend starting asap.

When this happened with ggparty, I used emulators and screen recorders to save the stories. I recommend MEmu and bandicam, they're both easy to use and free (bandicam is a paid program, and the free version comes with a watermark, but it shouldn't be too annoying unless they've changed it).

You live in a small, peaceful village. Every day is the same as any other; boring. Right when you wish for something exciting to happen, strange things start to occur, stemming from the nearby forest. If that isn't enough, the locals have begun disappearing. At the same time you meet four mysterious guys. Will you discover the truth before becoming the next target?

Rating: 16+, for violence, (mild) blood and suggestive themes
Dark Nights is a COMPLETELY FREE otome visual novel by Pinlin (if you're a deviantart person back in the days, you'd know them). I've been following it for a while and the full version was actually released recently (but as I've been away from DR, well...at least here is it now).

I downloaded it but haven't played it yet, but the art is great and it seems to have a good reception. Not to mention it's FREE. I thought everyone should be informed about this game. Feel free to try it! You can download it on itch.io (it has option for pay-what-you-want if you wish to donate some money as well).

TAISHO x ALICE episode 1 will be released on Steam on November 28 with a new English localization! Behind this are JAST USA and Molly (verdelishJP) as translator, so I'm expecting great things from it.

TAISHO x ALICE is an episodic otome game, and this is just the first part out of 4 (including the epilogue). Molly mentioned on Twitter that Primula wants to see how it sells before committing to release the rest, so please consider supporting this release if you can! The two love interests featured in this episode are Cinderella and Red Riding Hood~

This game already got an English (and Spanish) release a couple of years ago, but it was a disaster in every possible way. I'm not going to explain that mess here because it's a long story and I'm sure most of you are already familiar with what happened. If you're not and you'd like to know, I'd recommend reading these posts by Elly:

Honestly I thought this game was a lost cause and we would never see a proper English release after that shitshow. I'm so excited! ♥
