otome_games, a community for discussing story based romance games aimed at women. This is a place to discuss what games you've been playing, post reviews, and link to creative works to do with otome games.
It was created as an offshoot ofotomeworld when we lost our mod.

- The technical definition of "otome" is any story based game aimed at women. While most otome games are romances involving a female main character and male love interests, we're open to discussion of games that don't fit that mould as long as they're otome-ish.
- We're open to reviews, discussion posts, meta, fanworks, news, and pretty much anything else related to otome games. Including your own!
- It's fine to dislike or criticise a character or game, but be respectful towards those who like it. No attacking others for their ships or route choices.
- No links to downloads for games that are legally available. Posts with download links to abandoned games etc should be locked.
- Please be respectful of other members in general! Debate is fine, but personal attacks are not allowed. Please avoid use of sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ablist and other derogatory language. Otome fans are a diverse group, let's make this a pleasant space for everyone.
