Samurai Love Ballad: Party has stopped working for me, and I kind of wanted a break anyway.

I played Soryu's path from Love365: Kissed By The Baddest Bidder and it was kinda fun, in an asshole kuudere mobster kinda way.

Also, I got a Switch, and am pondering the games on that, though for now I'm busy being obsessed with Animal Crossing.

I finished Amnesia! Finished Toma's route, which ended up being hilariously great, and then did Ukyo's route. I'll do a summary later, but mostly, I found Ukyo kind of boring (albeit very pretty). I was more interested in the photography aspect which wasn't explored than the rest of it.

I vaguely remember liking the idea of his route more than the execution. Death and timeloops!

But I kept feeling like their great epic romance was a bit silly whenever I thought about the fact they'd dated for...a month. At least Ikki and MC dated for three.

I also think I would have preferred Alter Ukyo as a geas or a side-effect of the wish, like "because you want to save her, now something must threaten her in every world (and conservation of characters means it gets to be you! :D)".

I did squee when Orion showed up at the end though. And some of the CG.

I'm still playing Samurai Love Ballad. I played Kojiro's route and didn't love it, so rather than go on to his act 2 I started Yukimura. He's very cute and blushy. I'll probably go back to Kojiro act 2 eventually, because it has Hideyoshi in it as an antagonist and Hideyoshi is the best antagonist.

I have seen screenshots where Hideyoshi seemed absolutely mesmerizing and terrifying as an antagonist.

What happened with Kojuro's route that made it meh?

Nothing was wrong with it, I just found it completely unmemorable. As shown by that I can't even remember how to spell his name - the only LI that I've had that problem with.

Hideyoshi as antagonist is strong enticement. But I want to read the Yukimura route first so I can better follow alias_sqbr's fic.

Yeah Kojiro never jumped out at me, though Hideyoshi as an antagonist sounds interesting!
