Choosing the game of the month for October

And my suggestion is Halloween Otome! It's a fun game, and definitely in theme :)

I actually remembered a horror Otome afte what I said! It's one I played back when it released, almost a decade ago. (cw blood) Doppelganger: Dawn of the Inverted Soul.

It's been such a long time since I played it I can't remember much, and the good stuff I do remember is spoilers.

So here's a couple of not so good things I remember:

In order to get the golden ending, you have to get ALL the other endings, good and bad. There are a LOT. But the more endings you get, the more content you can see earlier in the game as well, because it literally reveals more of the background.

There's one Love Interest who is intersex and I distinctly remember the writer saying something like "I based his story about one episode of House that focused on his condition" and people responding that House did it wrong and the writer should have done the research.

And something I find interesting but others may find offputting: sometimes the best ending in a route is not the one where Lucia and the Love Interest get together.
