When Cardia is awoken in her Welsh estate by the handsome thief Arsène Lupin, she can’t possibly imagine the journey she has ahead of her… and the dangers that await. Fortunately, Cardia is not entirely helpless–the mysterious gems embedded in her chest grant her poisonous skin, which can melt away anything that touches it.
But where did the gems come from? And will she ever be able to touch another person without killing them?
To discover the answers to these questions, Cardia travels with Lupin to London, where she encounters other handsome strangers who quickly devote themselves to aiding her quest. Cardia must work hard to uncover the mystery of her own existence and answer the questions that have been plaguing her since the fateful night she met Lupin: who is chasing her, what do they want, and where has her father gone?
Code: Realize is a series of 3 games (main one and 2 fandiscs) which surprisingly has been fully released in English (I mean, the games are good and I think it's totally deserved, and I feel very blessed when I think about it, but I'm still surprised considering the luck we've had with other otome series...)
They were originally released for the PS Vita, and all 3 are available there. Meanwhile the main game and the first fandisc (Future Blessings) are also available for PS4 as a one game (Bouquet of Rainbows), and for Switch.
... Man. For once I have played the game of the month (not just the main one, but all 3 of them) and I still don't know what to say lol. But well, they're all very good. Main game is full of action and drama, and the other two give you the fluff you don't get in the main game (plus some more action and drama in the new routes). Of course you don't have to play those too, but I'd really recommend Future Blessings because it includes Finis's route and it hurts so good.
These are rough estimates but I'd say main game is 30~40 hours long, and the other two are 10~20 hours each. More or less. And for the playing order, I'd say: Impey → Van Helsing → Victor → Saint → Lupin, or the same but switching Saint and Victor.
Oh there is also an anime adaptation you can check before deciding to give the game a try. Obviously it's not as good, but I thought it was pretty decent and enjoyable :)
Anyone else has played? Tell us about it ♥
