Released in 2015 on Steam and the PS Store, and also available for smartphones with two different apps (premium with all the routes, normal one where you can buy chapters individually).

From what I heard, thanks to the Steam release this game was pirated A LOT, and it ended up selling poorly. Which means that probably we'll never get any of the other games of the series released in English. Will I ever stop being bitter about this? Absolutely not :)


Amnesia was the first ~big, fancy~ otome game I played, and it's very dear to me. Orion is one of my favorite characters in otome, and I'm super fond of all the love interests. The story is pretty entertaining (and it takes place in August iirc, so it's a good game to start this month~) and the whole aesthetic is amazing too.

However if you hate heroines who are ~empty dolls~ you're not going to like this one at all, they go pretty hard with that in this game lol Personally I think it makes sense in the context of the story, but I know some people still won't like it.


I got all the endings unlocked and 37 hours of play time. I don't really have a playing order to recommend here, mainly because I started this game when I still didn't care about that kind of stuff 🤔 But hmm.. Kent > Shin > Ikki > Toma > Ukyo? Maybe?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the order doesn't matter that much with this story. You only have to play Ukyo last but you can't access that route until you clear the rest, you don't really need to think about it lol

I enjoyed Amnesia a lot! Though some of that enjoyment was horrified laughter, since I hadn't played much otome at that point and wasn't ready for how INTENSE yanderes and bad ends can be. I should replay it at some point.

Also the theme looks great! Clearly you chose a greenish background for Best Boy Kent. That illustration is super cute, I really liked Orion.
