I'm thinking of buying a Nintendo Switch, so I was poking around the store, and came across a few Love365 games. Afaict each game has the first two seasons for 3-6 guys for $25, when (if my maths is right) buying the stories individually via the mobile app costs about that much per guy.
So it's good value if you're a completionist. Which I am not, I'm generally happy playing one guy's first story (about $6, or free if you wait long enough) and then stopping, but YMMV.
The currently available games are:
Our Two Bedroom Story: forced to share a house with a coworker!
Kissed by the Baddest Bidder: Bought by a criminal at a casino!
Star-Crossed Myth: a literal god wants you to lift his curse! Divided into Department of Punishments and Department of Wishes.
Enchanted in the Moonlight: mythological creatures want you to have their magical babies! Divided into two games.
Not all of the mobile LIs are available for all of these.
I've tried at least one guy for all of these games and they're not...the best dating sims ever, even for Love365. But they can be fun if you like conventional cheesy romance. Links are to my reaction posts.
I mostly enjoyed Tsumugi from "Our Two Bedroom Story" but he's not in the switch version. This is the only game with anything resembling psychological realism.
I...got a sort of horrified amusement at the sheer wtf melodramatic assholeishness of Eisuke from Kissed by the Baddest Bidder. All the LIs seem like utter assholes, which is not my kink, but if it's yours you'll get five which is pretty good value.
I enjoyed Dui from the Department of Punishments half of Star-Crossed Myth, but the writing is simplistic and silly and the others I've tried weren't great.
I mostly enjoyed Kyoga from Enchanted in the Moonlight but the whole game is SUPER trashy dubcon.

Date: 2020-06-09 17:41 (UTC)I think that Star Crossed Myth at least is missing some of the side stories, though it has the main route.
I like my Switch but haven't found it very useful for otome so far -- the only game I have on it is Nightshade (and I think some indie VNs might be as well, e.g. Cinders?). I think Code:Realize is on it as well. Nintendo doesn't have sales very often though, so everything is pricy. I think there are more games that are supposed to come out this and next year, but...still waiting.
It's sad because I like playing on the Switch! Propping the console up at eye level + autoscroll + holding the detachable controllers in my lap is probably the most comfortable that I've ever been while playing otome.

Date: 2020-06-10 14:05 (UTC)Yeah they have all the main stories up to a point, but not the side ones, afaict. They only seem to have started releasing them recently so more may come out later.
I came across a few other otome, including, as you say, a few indie games, though they're mostly available for PC too. CollarxMalice and Norn9 look promising and afaict aren't available elsewhere. I mean to look harder once I actually have a switch: I apparently decided to buy one just as there's a global shortage, good job self.

Date: 2020-06-10 17:59 (UTC)I did not know CxM and Norn9 were out on the Switch! I've heard so many good things about CxM's heroine, and I'm very interested in Norn9 after seeing an MV for its anime. Also, it has three separate MCs.
Good luck getting the switch! Are there other games (otome or otherwise) that you're hoping to get?
